Frequently asked questions

Intensive English seminars

We provide seminars for companies, institutions and groups of private individuals. So your first step towards your intensive English seminar is finding a group of people to do it with (e.g. your unit or team at work, or your colleagues who work in the same field as you). We will be happy to talk to your institution’s training officer about organising your in-house English seminar.

Intensive seminars work best for learners whose English is at level B1 or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Click here to check your level using the CEFR self-assessment grid.

Usually between 1 and 3 days. A typical seminar day lasts 8 hours, including breaks (sometimes longer, e.g. if it’s a residential seminar).

Usually between 6 and 16 participants; sometimes up to 20, depending on the type of seminar.
We usually work with 1 trainer (i.e. one of us) for groups of up to 8 participants, and with 2 trainers (i.e. both of us) for groups of up to 16 participants. Sometimes the number of participants per trainer is lower (e.g. for presentation skills training), sometimes it is higher (e.g. for conversation seminars).

We either teach at our clients’ premises (e.g. in a conference room or similar), or at training centres or seminar hotels.

English courses

We provide courses for companies, institutions and groups of private individuals. So your first step towards your English course is finding a group of people to do it with (e.g. your unit or team at work, or your colleagues who work in the same field as you). We will be happy to talk to your institution’s training officer about organising your in-house English course.

We provide English course at any level, from elementary to advanced.
Among other things, we specialise in designing specialised courses at relatively low levels of English, e.g. specific legal terminology at level A2.

A typical course runs over several weeks, with one or two sessions per week. Individual sessions can last between 1½ and 3½ hours, depending on group size, level and training aims.

Usually up to 10 per group; sometimes more, depending on the type of course.

We usually teach courses at our clients’ premises (e.g. in a conference room or similar).

English coaching

As language coaching is completely tailored to the client's needs, is works well at any level.

A coaching session typically lasts 90 mins, but can be longer (especially with groups) or shorter (e.g. practising a short statement).

We provide coaching for individuals and groups of up to 6 people.

We usually coach our clients in their own offices.
